History of Lodi
Lodi is a city in California’s Central Valley, located just south of Sacramento. The city is best known for being the home of the first commercially planted vineyards in the state, as well as its history as a stop on the Pony Express and the transcontinental railroad.

The city of Lodi was founded in 1869 by developers George and Williamigniter S. White.
