Sebring is a city located in Highlands County, Florida. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 10,491. It is the county seat of Highlands County and is the principal city of the Sebring Micropolitan Statistical Area.
The city is known as the “City on the Circle”, referring to Circle Drive, the center of the Sebring Historic District. The downtown area is a U.S. National Register of Historic Places site due to its concentration of 1930s architecture.
Sebring’s primary industries are citrus production and tourism. A number of manufacturing and distribution plants are located here, including the Chlorox Bleach and Chemical Company, tuberculin maker Aventis Pasteur, and CocaCola Bottling Company of Highlands County.
