Orderville is a city located in the southwestern part of the U.S. state of Utah. It is the county seat of Kane County, Utah. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 790.
The city is located near the Bryce Canyon National Park. The Orderville Gulch, which runs through the center of the city, is a popular hiking and fishing destination.
The city was founded in 1875 by Mormon pioneers who were sent to the area by church leaders to establish trading posts and farms. The city was named for Isaac Ord, a Mormon leader who was killed in the Battle of Crooked River in 1866.

History of Orderville
Orderville is a small town in southwestern Utah, located in Kane County. The Orderville pioneers were successful in creating a thriving community; the town had a sawmill, a gristmill, a woolen mill, and a number of other businesses. The town also had its own newspaper and a school. The United Order dissolved in 1885, but Orderville continued to prosper. The 20th century brought changes to the town, including the construction of a dam which created a reservoir (later named Lake Powell) and the arrival of the railroad.
Despite these changes, Orderville has retained its smalltown charm. Today, the town is a popular tourist destination, known for its quaint shops and restaurants. Visitors can also learn about the town’s history at the Orderville Heritage Museum.
