History of Laguna Beach
Laguna Beach is a Southern California beach city located in Orange County. The city is known for its artists, beaches, and interesting history.
The first inhabitants of the area were the Tongva people. They lived in what is now known as Laguna Canyon. In the early 1800s, the Spanish came and established Mission San Juan Capistrano in the area. The mission was later abandoned, but many of the Tongva people remained.
