History of Fullerton

Fullerton, California, is located in Orange County about 30 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles. The city was founded in 1887 by George Fullerton, a civil engineer who originally came from Illinois. He named the city Fullerton after his family’s ancestral home in Scotland.
