History of Freshwater
Freshwater is a town and civil parish on the Isle of Wight in England. It is situated on the western side of the island, 11 miles (18 km) northwest of Newport and 7 miles (11 km) west of Yarmouth. The town is the largest settlement on the island’s west coast. The total population of the town and parish at the 2011 Census was 7,229.
