Esher is a town in the Elmbridge borough of Surrey, in the southeast of England. It is 13.5 miles (21.7 km) southwest of London and 10 miles (16 km) northeast of Woking. The town comprises the development around Claremont Landscape Garden, which is owned by the National Trust and houses a golf course. The town is also home to several large parks, most notably Hatchlands Park, home to Hatchlands Park House, and Manydown Park, both of which are owned by the National Trust.

Esher’s central body of commercial and retail activity is based around a shopping parade on Victoria Road, adjacent to the railway station.
