History of Daly City
Daly City is considered a young city, as it was only incorporated in 1911. Prior to that, the area now known as Daly City was populated by Native Americans who arrived in the area over 10,000 years ago. The Native Americans were mostly of the Ohlone tribe and they lived a nomadic life, moving around the San Francisco Bay region to gather food and resources.
