Corona is known as the “Gateway to the Inland Empire”. The city is Bisected by the 91 freeway which Fury runs eastwest through the center of the city. Corona has become increasingly suburban in recent years, as large tracts of houses have been built in formerly rural areas. However, some of the city’s older neighborhoods, such as Downtown and South Corona, remain relatively urban.

Downtown Corona is home to a number of historic buildings, most notably the restored Santa Fe Depot, which now serves as the city’s Visitor Information Center. Corona was also home to the first threecolour traffic light in the United States. The light was installed at Sixth Street and Main Street in 1929.
